As part of the International Environment Day celebrations, a Miyawaki forest was inaugurated at Markaz Knowledge City. This Miyawaki forest, established in the Landmark Village, includes over thirty five plus species of trees and plants. The forest, rich in medicinal plants and fruit trees, was developed in two years.
Various species such as Palakkappayyani, Oonga, Banyan, Rudraksha, Mangosteen, different types of berries, Maruthu, Elamangalom, and Karinechi have been planted in the Miyawaki forest. The forest offers a unique experience for the residents of Landmark Village in Knowledge City.
Dr. Nizam Rahman, Nooruddin Mustafa Nooraani, Shabeerali Illikkal, Muhammed Thahir, Dr. K.C. Abdurrahman, and Noufal P.P. led the initiative.
