IAS academy launched at Markaz Knowledge City

Dr. Shashi Tharoor said that the time seeks renewal of the current education system to overcome the hurdles of life. While talking with the students from the first edition of the wise talk series on 'renovations and ideas in educational field' organised by Shaikh Abubakr Foundation at Markaz Knowledge City he added that the current educational system has a lot of conventional methods which must be replaced accordingly. Markaz Knowledge City received permanent membership in Intercity Intangible Cultural Cooperation Network (ICCN), a UNESCO recognized organization. The 9th General Assembly of ICCN based in Valencia, Spain established for the conservation and development of urban heritage, was held in Kozhikode as its first Assembly in India. Assembly representatives are from Spain, Iran, Sri Lanka, Bahrain, Brazil and South Korea. Skill Development Centre Inaugurated at the City

Knowledge City: Dr. Muhammad Murshid, An Alumnus of Markaz Unani Medical College bagged first rank in the state for All India Ayush PG Entrance Test (AIAPGET). A native of Puthiyatheru, Kannur, Murshid secured 56th rank on All India basis and 26th rank in OBC category. It is remarkable that this achievement was achieved in his first attempt. Murshid is a first batch student of Markaz Unani Medical College, Kerala's first Unani Medical College situated at Markaz Knowledge City.This is the first time in the history of Kerala that a person studied from a college in Kerala has topped the All-India AYUSH PG Entrance Test. After graduating as a doctor and completing his training, Mohammad Murshid is practicing at clinics in Kannur Caltex and Kakkad. Along with Unani studies, he has also received religious studies from Tha’leemussunna Dars at Masjid Thabieen in Kaithappoyil. International Climate Action Summit Concludes&nbsp; with Malaibar Declaration on Climate Action&nbsp;Kozhikode: The three day long discussions, debates and deliberations of academicians, scientists, policy makers, religious scholars and educational administrators from forty countries meeting at the&nbsp;International summit of International Leadership on climate action 2022 will culminate today with Malaibar Climate Action Declaration. The eighth edition of Sadat Congregation was held at Markaz Knowledge City in which thousand plus Sayyids from twenty-five Sayyid clans of Kerala gathered. The grand opening of Markaz Knowledge City, a holistic Edu-city project commissioned ten years ago in 125 acres of land at Kaithappoyil in Calicut, is to be commenced at the end of October. Markaz Knowledge City set to open by the end of October

The first batch of the institution, consisting of fifty-one students, completed their studies and entered the service field. Dr. V. P. Joy IAS, the Chief Secretary of Kerala, visited Markaz Knowledge City to attend the graduation ceremony of BUMS at Markaz Unani Medical College, the first Unani Medical College in Kerala. Cairo: Malaibar Foundation for Research and Development – a non-profit organization centered in Kerala-India, dedicated for Research, Training, Publication, and Heritage Preservation in the core areas of Religion, Science, Law, Medicine, Art, and Literature – based at Markaz Knowledge City signs an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tabah Foundation. Abdul Hakkim Azhari, Chairman of Malaibar Foundation and Muhammed Shadid, Executive Manager of Tabah Foundation signed the MoU at Tabah Foundation’s headquarters at Cairo, Egypt. It was also mutually agreed to conduct research and publication projects, seminars and workshops on various contemporary and traditional issues. Dr. Abdul Hakkim Azhari said that the MoU with the Tabah Foundation, which implements various projects in various social, humanitarian and scientific fields such as world peace, Sufism, and prophetic history, will be instrumental in new contributions in these fields of study.
