Guardians of Green, an NGO known for its commitment to fostering sustainability practices across India, presents the Sustainability Innovation Award to entities that have made outstanding contributions to the preservation of air, soil, and water quality through cutting-edge technologies. In Markaz Knowledge City's case, their sustainable efforts span a multitude of initiatives, including solar energy adoption, rainwater harvesting, waste management systems, and the conscientious selection of indigenously developed materials.

The award was presented to Dr. Abdul Salam Mohammed, the CEO of Markaz Knowledge City, at a prestigious function held at Shangri La Eros in New Delhi. The event brought together numerous change makers who are actively transforming Indian villages through sustainable practices, leveraging locally available flora and fauna.
